Spring has Sprung

It’s June and glorious color has returned to the landscape.  And what a welcome change it is.  This Spring has been chilly… and rainy… but the days are long and the hills are green.  Aaaah!

The lilacs in town are long faded, but because we live at some elevation, ours are delayed quite a bit.  So often we are away when they bloom, but this year we are savoring their amazing beauty and aroma.

While we dine right next to them on our porch, the tiger swallowtails and hummingbird moths are sipping their sweet nectar.
