Another sketch

Yes, I know it isn’t at a coffee shop, but yesterday was a pretty special day here.  James proposed to his girlfriend on a ski lift at Okemo Mountain.  He had gone up early in the morning, with the blessing and help of the mountain administration to paint his proposal on the snow with water colored with food coloring.  Then he went to pick her up for a day of snowboarding.  I posted a photograph taken by a mountain photographer following them up in the lift on my class site and one of my fellow students suggested I sketch it.  That seemed like a daunting task but I simplified some things and just did the essentials.  It was a perfect activity for this snowy day , sketching in front of the fire.
