I made a bigger sweater for the bunny so he didn’t look like he was wearing his little brother’s clothes. I added 4 rows overall to the body and picked up two extra stitches for the sleeves. I also added two extra rows of length to the sleeves. It looks better, I think. He’s living at the shop for a little while to see if he can help sell some of the yarn he’s made of.

Last week I finished this adorable little bunny in Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Astrakhan. It is a Debbie Bliss pattern and consists of lots of pieces that need to be sewn together and ends that need to be worked in. The yarn was a real challenge too, what with all the loops. I ended up sewing it up wrong side out because I liked the texture better. The yarn made up bigger than expected and the sweater I made is a little on the small side. I think I’ll be making another one on bigger needles.
This little guy needs eyes and a nose, but he sure is cute, don’t you think?
One of the participants in my online class lost a grandchild to SIDS two weeks in. We all hurt for her. One of the other students suggested we do some blocks and offered to put them together into a quilt. The idea was to do something we had learned in the class. So I borrowed some ideas from lesson 3 and made this block to send. God bless you and your family, Synnove.
