Valentine’s Day Blizzard

SNOW! and lots of it. Of course not quite as much as upstate New York got recently. But according to the news this morning, this is the second largest storm on record for Vermont. In West Rutland, about 1/2 hour from here the official total was 26″. On our hill it was so hard to tell because of all the wind blowing so much. Here are two pix yesterday afternoon in the thick of the storm:

Too bad it’s not good snow for making snowmen, but the ski resorts are happy.
